A blog for my craftiness, but first and foremost for my origami. I sell it on ebay (username angecky99), so after it's gone I like to remember what I've done. If you see something you like, feel free to leave a comment. I can make things to order if you are after a particular colour/design.

Where is the Green Sheep?
Mem Fox's brilliant little picture book 'Where is the Green Sheep?' was the inspiration for this set of sheep I knitted to go with the book for a present for a friend's baby. The sheep were frustrating, and it took a bit of trial and error before I was happy enough with them. They weren't perfect, but I was pleased with the result. They are great for little hands, with different textures in the wool, and of course different colours.
Skirt from Jeans
I found instructions about how to make a skirt from a pair of jeans online (sorry, I can't find them anymore). Basically, you cut the legs to the skirt length you want, unpick ALL the seams (in the top and bottom parts), and use the pieces from the legs to fill in the gaps between the seams at the top (if that makes sense). I used a pair of jeans with paint on the bottoms, and voilĂ ! The key is to make sure the jeans fit well in the waist before you start cutting them up. The jeans I used were made of stretchy material, and that definitely helps the skirt to fit better.
